About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Administrator to join our team in the Transportation industry. As a Business Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business. Your major end result will be to provide strategic consulting and support to our management team, while ensuring compliance with Human Resources policies and regulations. You will play a key role in the success of our organization by managing payroll administration, overseeing employee benefits, and maintaining accurate records.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources policies and procedures, payroll administration, and strategic consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Transportation industry.
  • Certification in Human Resources, such as PHR or SPHR.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Human Resources policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Provide strategic consulting and support to the management team to improve business operations and achieve organizational goals.
  • Manage payroll administration, including processing employee paychecks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Oversee employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee information, including attendance, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Skills:

As a Business Administrator, you will use your expertise in Human Resources policies, strategic consulting, and payroll administration to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our business. You will work closely with the management team to provide strategic support and improve business operations. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in maintaining positive relationships with employees and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be critical in managing payroll administration and maintaining accurate records. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in achieving organizational goals.

Salary: $68,000 - 80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
