We are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join us at Wavin Hungary in Biatorbágy . If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

MAIN OBJECTIVE:

• Active participation and coordination of month end closing.
• Reporting – Ad hoc-analyses, participation on regular reporting of company result
• Collaboration with SSC and regional finance staff
• preparation of accounting data for various company reports,
• Preparation of tax returns, data reports, reconciliation of tax accounts
• Preparation of other official reports and statistics
• Ensuring accounting processes
• Active participation in daily accounting tasks
• Securing bank transfers
• Participation in audit
• Participation in process development, financial, accounting projects: implementation and coordination of new processes
• Accounting and taxation administration for business divisions
• Monitoring changes in tax rules
• Liaison with banks, authorities, payroll, auditors
• Supporting the work of the accounting manager
• Maintaining contact with financial and credit institutions

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE

• Specialized higher education degree in finance
• Registered Chartered Accountant qualification
• Proficiency in accounting law and tax laws
• Active English language skill, both spoken and written
• Up-to-date financial and accounting knowledge
• Confident Excel skills
• SAP knowledge as advantage

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Independent, determined, proactive, flexible personality who can work excellently both individually and in a team, meeting deadlines
• Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
