Job Description

The Workday Integration Developer is a member of the Workday team at Salinas Valley Health. The role supports the Workday Program Manager and other operational areas serving as a technical resource for the Workday platform which includes Human Capital Management, Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Strategic Sourcing. The Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party systems. Strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Integrations Development :

• Lead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday and third-party systems integrations.
• Create and maintain documentation of integration designs, field mappings, test scenarios, workflows, and logic for future reference and troubleshooting.
• Perform unit and system integration testing in partnership with stakeholders, business users, and third-party vendors.
• Deploy, monitor, provide ongoing support, and maintain the integration schedule for all Workday and third-party system integrations.
• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and scalable integration solutions using the Workday platform, middleware tools and the related capabilities of source and target systems
• Configure and develop technical integrations using Workday Studio, Web Services (SOAP / REST), Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Complex Calculated Fields, Web Services, Workday Custom Reports, and Reports-as-a-Service (RaaS).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess document requirements, review design, and define functional specifications.
• Manage Workday Integration analysis, system configurations, and deployment to production.
• Lead integration projects with third-party vendors from discovery, design, development, testing and implementation.
• Actively participate in learning University business processes and how they translate to manual, semi-automated and automated processes.
• Understand the organization's enterprise systems portfolio of third-party applications and how they interact with Workday

Education : Bachelor's degree required, or in lieu of bachelor's degree, high school diploma or GED with six (6) years' experience developing and managing integrations, preferably in Workday.

Licensure : None.

Experience : Three (3) years' experience developing and managing integrations, preferably in Workday. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a collaborative environment. Workday Pro Integrations or Workday Pro Workday Extend certifications preferred.

Salary Range : The hourly rate for this position is $54.18- $67.73. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for this position.
