Title : IT Project Manager

Location : Indianapolis IN 46204- HYBRID- Local Only

Duration : Contract

Job Description : Position Summary

The Resource will manage plan execute monitor and control the activities of medium to large information technology projects and teams. They will work collaboratively within the division to ensure quality and timely project implementations along with successful business adoption.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage medium to large projects.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with CSB-IT staff county / agency staff and contracted resources.
  • Create review and maintain project management documentation including project plans schedules meeting agendas / minutes risk / issue logs and lessons learned.
  • Manage projects according to approved Governance policies and procedures.
  • Utilize the Atlassian tool suite to track milestones tasks and deliverables against the baseline taking corrective action for any variance and reporting issues to the PMO Manager.
  • Schedule prepare for and facilitate project meetings.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders; escalate and address issues in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain project artifacts according to the CSB document management strategy.
  • Support a team atmosphere to promote productivity.
  • Support project portfolio maintenance and update Governance manual policies / procedures as assigned.
  • Work with the PMO Manager to establish performance expectations.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 5 years of project management experience.
  • 2 years of experience managing large complex multi-year projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook SharePoint Word Excel Project and Visio.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Atlassian Tool Suite.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce technology.
  • Thorough knowledge of PMBOK project management practices including cost management benefit analysis risk management resource management and change control.
  • Thorough knowledge of Agile Project Management and IT governance methodologies tools and approaches.
  • Ability to lead motivate encourage and influence others.
  • Ability to analyze issues develop solutions and solve project problems.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across business groups.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
  • Required / preferred :

    • Business knowledge of IV-D and Child Support Enforcement.

  • Experience in state government.
  • PMP certification.
  • Agile certifications.
  • Scrum Master certification .
