Utility Labor Worker / DAF Operator - on the job training

Painesville, OH (east end)

6 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM | 4 Days On / 4 Days Off

$18 per hour

Job Overview :

We're looking for a reliable DAF Operator to join our team! In this role, you'll help treat and manage plant-wide wastewater systems while ensuring we meet all food safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operate and monitor Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) wastewater systems
  • Track and adjust temperature, pressure, and flow levels
  • Regulate regional sewer discharge
  • Follow all feed and food safety protocols
  • Perform general labor as needed to support operations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements :

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 4-on / 4-off schedule
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Willingness to perform physical labor
  • Previous experience in wastewater operations or industrial environment is a plus
