Junior Staff Accountant

We are looking to add a Junior Staff Accountant who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced growing environment.

Summary :

The Junior Staff Accountant provides support to the accounting team by performing basic accounting tasks assisting with month-end close activities and maintaining accurate financial records. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals beginning their accounting career who are eager to gain hands-on experience with general ledger functions financial reporting and compliance processes.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Record daily financial transactions including accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations ensuring timely and accurate balancing of accounts.
• Prepare and enter journal entries under supervision (accruals adjustments recurring entries).
• Support month-end and year-end close by organizing documentation running reports and ensuring data completeness.
• Help maintain the general ledger by verifying transaction accuracy and correcting simple errors.
• Generate routine financial reports spreadsheets and support schedules for senior accountants.
• Assist with invoice processing expense reports and vendor / customer account maintenance.
• Maintain organized financial files both electronic and physical to support audits and compliance.
• Support audits by retrieving backup documentation and responding to auditor requests.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve internal processes and ensure accounting standards are met.
