Family Practice - Without OB Physician at ProTouch Staffing summary :

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician to provide PRN care for various locations, with a focus on comprehensive health assessments and exams for veterans. Candidates should have experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine and must be proficient in physical assessments, including musculoskeletal evaluations. Compensation is at a rate of $600 for half-day and $1300 for full-day shifts, with flexible scheduling options available.

Locations Available- Please note at the time of name clear :

Must be within 50 miles

Provider s own office locations- Provider must have their own office

Coeburn- 2 shifts per week needed

  • Covington- 10 shifts per week needed (multiple openings)
  • Hillsville- 2 shifts per week
  • Winchester- 2 shifts per week needed
  • Woodstock- 2 shifts per week needed

PRN as needed.

1099 compensation :

  • $600 for half day (4 hours)
  • $1300 for full day (8 hours)
  • $650 for completing all required training and starting assignment

    • Details :

  • Need is on a PRN basis, ongoing
  • Willing to accept these specialties : family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc, or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.
  • Two (2) options for coverage - Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility and / or schedule Veterans within your own practice
  • Option to work days(4-hours) and / or full days(8-hours)
  • One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
  • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment : range of motion testing, muscle strength testing.
  • No prescribing, no treatment
  • Quick credentialing & onboarding
  • DMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
  • Use of Goniometer required
  • Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required
  • Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
  • Own personal laptop (NO MACs)

    • The provider will need to complete their DMA training.
