Role : Workday Testing Project Manager (w2)

Location : Houston, TX or Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Duration : 6-12 Months

Job Description :

• Define & manage overall E2E test strategy covering Functional, Integration, Security, and Data Migration testing.
• Develop detailed test plans, timelines, and resource allocation for multiple workstreams.
• Establish governance for defect management, risk identification, and mitigation.
• Oversee creation of test scenarios and scripts for Workday modules / functional areas (HCM, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, Security, Workforce Planning, and Integrations).
• Coordinate execution of Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
• Manage testing of Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, APIs) and downstream systems.
• Validate data migration accuracy and reconciliation across environments.
• Liaise with business teams, HRIT, implementation partners, and vendors to ensure alignment.
• Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and readiness metrics to leadership.
• Prepare test summary reports with coverage, defect trends, and go-live readiness.
