Google Cloud Engineer

A company is looking for a Google Cloud Engineer to support a federal government program.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure for a federal Trusted Internet Connection initiative

Implement and manage firewalls, network security policies, and secure connectivity solutions in compliance with government security requirements

Collaborate with an AWS Architect to integrate AWS and GCP environments into a unified trusted internet architecture

Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizen (required by federal contract)

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Google Cloud Professional Certification (Cloud Engineer, Architect, or Security Engineer)

5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on Google Cloud

Strong experience with firewall technologies and cloud networking best practices
