• Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sterilizing and maintaining surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies to support the safe and efficient functioning of our ophthalmic operating rooms.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Perform decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assemble and package instruments and supplies for ophthalmic surgical procedures.
• Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment and records.
• Collaborate with the ophthalmic surgical team to ensure the availability of sterile instruments for each procedure.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Assist in inventory management and order supplies as needed.
• Qualifications :
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician required
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ophthalmology surgical environment.
