As a Substitute Teacher, you will support multiple mixed-age Montessori classrooms and help ensure continuity of care when our full-time guides are out sick, on vacation, or attending professional development. No prior Montessori experience is required —we provide all the training you'll need during onboarding.

This is an as-needed, on-call position , with hours and workdays varying based on school needs. Substitutes may be asked to assist in the classroom, help with basic kitchen duties, or support other daily routines depending on the day.

Joining us as a Substitute is a wonderful way to get your foot in the door at Guidepost Montessori. Many of our substitutes grow into full-time Assistant Teacher roles as new opportunities arise. Minimum Qualifications

Negative TB test within the last 12 months

Valid state background check

Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred : ECE units or recent experience working with children ages 0–6
