Travel Nurse RN - Pediatrics - $2,423 per week in Largo, MD

Job Title : Pediatric Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Pediatrics Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : 2 years of experience in pediatrics, NICU experience required; first-time travelers accepted License : Active RN license Certifications : BLS, PALS Must-Have : NICU experience in work history Description : Pediatric Registered Nurse with NICU experience required. Rotating schedule with a commitment to 36 hours a week. Every other weekend is required. Work experience must include two years in pediatrics. Knowledge in patient care management for pediatric patients is essential. Skills required include the administration of blood products, central line care, and NG tube management. Experience in supporting breastfeeding and feeding issues in infants is necessary. Strong understanding of pediatric dosage calculations and medication management is important. Candidates must be comfortable floating to other units based on staffing needs. Experience in dealing with specific patient diagnoses such as chronic lung disease and neonatal abstinence syndrome is preferred. Ability to perform special procedures and operate essential medical equipment is necessary. Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. Daily census will include neonates, infants, and pediatric patients. Please note that floating within the facility may be required as part of this position. All applications will be considered.
