Position : CNC Machinist
Location : Warren, MI
Pay : $27.28 / hour to start
Shift : First Shift (6 : 00 a.m. – 2 : 30 p.m.)
Overview :
A precision manufacturing company in Warren is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their growing team. This role focuses on high-mix, low-volume production where accuracy and craftsmanship matter. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and confident in setups, measurement, and tooling adjustments.
Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision metal components.
- Work primarily with HAAS mills and lathes (experience preferred, but similar controls acceptable).
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations.
- Perform tool offsets, change tools, and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and tight tolerances.
- Inspect and verify parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain part quality within specified tolerances of ±.001.
- Troubleshoot minor issues related to tooling, fixturing, and dimensional control.
- Work collaboratively with the team to improve efficiency and product consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
