Job Title: Applications Analyst (Oracle Payroll)
Location: Houston, TX 77024
Duration: 87 Weeks (Long-Term Contract)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $70 – $75 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Applications Analyst to perform moderate to complex analysis within assigned functional areas. This role focuses on resource monitoring, process evaluation, and presenting historical trend data to improve overall departmental efficiency and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Payroll systems, HR processes, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Payroll and IT teams to design and implement solutions that improve business processes and address organizational challenges

• Perform detailed analysis of HR and Payroll workflows to optimize system functionality

• Develop and maintain OTBI and BI Publisher reports for payroll auditing and compliance

• Partner with technical teams on outbound extracts and system integrations

• Monitor system performance and recommend process improvements

• Support system configuration, testing, and validation activities

Required Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of HR and Payroll processes

• Hands-on experience implementing Oracle Payroll, including configuration and testing

• Strong experience with OTBI and BI Publisher reporting tools

• Knowledge of Oracle Absence Management

• Knowledge of Oracle Time & Labor

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills

• High attention to detail and ability to manage complex data sets
