The Role

We are looking for a Medical Assistant who is passionate about making a difference. As part of our mobile care team, you’ll provide hands-on support to dermatology providers, assist during procedures, and help deliver an outstanding patient experience.

This is more than a typical MA role, it’s an opportunity to work in an innovative practice, travel with our mobile clinics, and be part of a mission-driven team fighting skin cancer and improving lives.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for exams

• Scribe for providers and update electronic medical records (EMA/Modernizing Medicine)

• Assist during Mohs procedures, excisions, and minor surgeries

• Label, process, and prepare specimens for the lab

• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care

• Support providers during additional testing and procedures

• Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for

• Occasionally take on duties outside of standard MA tasks to support team operations

What We’re Looking For

• Certified/experienced Medical Assistant (Surgical or Dermatology background preferred)

• Knowledge of Mohs procedures a plus

• Experience with EMA/Modernizing Medicine strongly preferred (training available for the right candidate)

• Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
