Full-Time Cleaner - Retirement Community

Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour

Job Summary
Come Back Clean is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team full-time. This role is based in a retirement community, where you will provide cleaning services for residents' rooms and common areas.

We are looking for someone who not only takes pride in their work but also has a heart for serving seniors with respect, integrity, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to a high standard
• Perform dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and disinfecting tasks
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are properly stocked and maintained
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Interact with residents in a kind and respectful manner, upholding their dignity and comfort
• Follow all health, safety, and infection control guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred (senior living or healthcare setting a plus)
• Compassionate, patient, and able to work well with older adults
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• High level of integrity and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and break rooms.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, including desks, countertops, and equipment.
• Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds.
