Job Description

The Proofreader position is responsible for reviewing legal documents for grammar and verbiage corrections.

• Identify and correct spelling, grammar, and verbiage errors in complex legal documents.
• Detect formatting and compositional errors in documents.
• Check corrected proofs of legal documents against mark-up for comparison and quality assurance.
• Assist the Document Services team with document production and preparation as needed.
• Handle sensitive and / or confidential documents and information.
• Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.
• Adhere to Williams Lea policy in addition to client site policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned

The salary for this role at the noted RRD location is $23 / hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and / or stand-by pay.
