Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented staff accountant to join our manufacturing client in Santa Fe Springs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and a proven ability to manage financial records accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and record journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure data consistency.
• Assist in the month-end close process, including preparing necessary reports and documentation.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to support audits and compliance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
• Monitor and update financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide detailed financial reports to management as needed.
• Support other accounting functions as required to meet organizational goals.
