Job Title : Pipe Fitter I

Location : Spring Valley, CA, 91978

Duration : 6 Months (Contract to Permanent)

Shift Timing : 5 : 30 am - 2 pm

Note :

  • Potential to convert to FT based on upcoming work
  • Interviews are onsite

Job Summary :

  • We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Pipe Fitter to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • This role demands precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine pipe layout and installation requirements.
  • Cut, thread, assemble, and install pipes and piping systems using a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Install supports, valves, and fittings to ensure proper system functionality and safety.
  • Conduct tests on piping systems for leaks and integrity, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Weld, solder, or glue pipe joints depending on the material and application.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair damaged piping systems.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other trades and contractors to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Journeyman certification is highly preferred
  • Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in [industrial, commercial, residential] settings with PVC experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with various pipe materials, such as PVC, copper, steel, and others.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of piping systems and components.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Welding certification is a plus
