Crane Mechanic Journey Level - $36- $48.25

The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver’s license, and depending on the role, a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement may be required. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate company records using electronic mobile devices for documenting equipment maintenance, service, and repairs.

The role is responsible for operating, inspecting, and repairing all types of heavy construction equipment in a field environment, including diagnosing defects, performing preventive maintenance, replacing defective parts or subassemblies, and reassembling systems. Duties include maintaining accurate electronic records of maintenance and repairs, conducting equipment housekeeping, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. The position also involves loading, transporting, and unloading materials, tools, and equipment, as well as assisting in lifting and positioning heavy components. Additional responsibilities include testing overhauled equipment for efficient operation, identifying excessive wear or damage, and performing routine cleaning and maintenance of tools. Strict adherence to safety procedures is required. Candidates should have at least 48 months of industrial construction experience and be physically able to maneuver tools and equipment in demanding environments.
