[job_card.job_description]Streamline the admission and discharge processes for optimal patient care. Engage in continuous assessment of patient care quality in conjunction with management. Foster a collaborative work environment that enhances outcomes and patient service. Promote a patient-first approach and engage in service recovery when needed. Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and operational practices. Contribute to staff recruitment and development, fostering a skilled team. Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in alignment with patient care requirements. Ensure effective inventory control and proper management of supplies and equipment. A minimum of 1 year as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a clinical setting. Experience in an acute care environment is preferred. Prior experience in a Pediatric Emergency Department is a plus. An Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or Compact License (Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required. Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) preferred.
