Tax Associate / Accountant - Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Accountant with at least five years' recent tax experience in public accounting. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation commensurate with experience and a benefit package available for full-time employees.

Responsibilities :

• Review client provided general ledger and financial statements and prepare journal entries as needed to compile mid-year and year-end financial statements for book and tax purposes.
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and exempt organizations tax returns including some multi-state issues.
• Consult with clients and provide tax planning.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients.
