The Colleague Experience Group (formerly HR) is focused on providing a great colleague experience every day. Within CEG, the Colleague Services (CS) organization plays a critical role in providing outstanding services, capabilities, data, and insights to enable that great colleague experience. The organization builds and operates products and services to enable CEG and the business
The Digital Product Solution Design team within Colleague Services, is responsible for the end-to-end support, configuration, and strategic management of Oracle HCM platforms, including Workforce Compensation and other HCM modules. This team drives system readiness through configuration, development, rigorous testing, release management, and integration oversight, ensuring seamless functionality across global HR operations. They collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve backend issues, manage data integrity, and implement enhancements aligned with enterprise goals. The team also plays a key role in platform modernization, governance and system strategy, making them a critical partner in delivering scalable and compliant HR technology solutions.
The Oracle Technical lead within this team will be responsible for the design and development of reports, extracts, fast formulas for compensation and other HCM Modules at American Express. The manager will lead technical and functional readiness, partner with internal stakeholders and vendors, and drive continuous improvement in compensation system operations, directly influencing the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of global compensation and HCM servicing.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the design, development, and deployment of technical solutions for Oracle HCM reports, RTF, extracts and fast formulas, focusing on Oracle Compensation, Learn, ORC modules.
Gather and analyze business requirements to build custom reports, dashboards, data extracts, and Fast Formula logic to support compensation cycles, audits, and compliance.
Develop and maintain OTBI, BI Publisher, Dashboards, HCM Extract and other Oracle reporting tools for reporting needs.
Create and optimize Fast Formulas for eligibility, calculations, and validation within compensation processes.
Serve as the subject matter expert for report development best practices in Oracle HCM Cloud.
Partner with HR, Compensation, and IT stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of critical compensation data, analytics, and formula-driven results.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to compensation data integration, Fast Formula logic, report performance, and data accuracy.
Document technical designs, reporting logic, Fast Formula specifications, and data mapping for ongoing support and audit purposes.
Stay current on Oracle HCM Cloud updates, new features, and industry best practices related to compensation reporting and formula development.
Minimum Qualifications :
Must have 5+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud development of technical report, HCM extract and Fast Formula development in Oracle compensation and other HCM Modules.
Proficiency in OTBI, BI Publisher, RTF Templates, HCM Extracts, Oracle Fast Formula, and other Oracle reporting tools.
Strong understanding of Oracle HCM data models, and compensation business processes.
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and effective formulas.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s) preferred
Salary Range : $103,750.00 to $174,750.00 annually + bonus + benefits
