Summary :

Cook Childrens Health Care System based in Fort Worth Texas is seeking a board certified / board eligible Pediatric Infectious Diseases physician to join our established 8-member Infectious Diseases group consisting of six pediatric infectious diseases physicians and two nurse practitioners. Our team delivers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient infectious diseases services with a strong emphasis on collaboration continuity of care and clinical excellence.

About the Opportunity :

Our group provides a wide range of infectious diseases management including :

Inpatient and outpatient consultation

Care for hospitalized patients across multiple specialty units including :

Pediatric ICU

Neuro ICU

Cardiac ICU

Neonatal ICU

Management of infectious complications in bone marrow and renal transplant patients

Broad outpatient services including :

Hospital follow-up

Evaluation of new outpatient infections

Ongoing care for patients with chronic infections such as hepatitis B hepatitis C and HIV

Our team values collaboration and shared decision-making. Our providers meet three mornings per week to review all patients on service ensuring seamless continuity of care and collective input on complex cases.
