The Senior Applications Developer plays a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining mission-critical enterprise systems at the University. The primary focus is Ellucian Banner Student, with extensive responsibility for integrating Banner with third-party platforms and services such as AppWorx, TouchNet, International Student & Scholar Management, Salesforce, Stellic, and other institutional applications.

This role requires a strong background in enterprise integrations, including Ellucian Ethos, APIs, and other middleware technologies, to ensure seamless data exchange and process automation across the institution’s systems. The Senior Developer will provide strategic technical leadership in planning, implementing, and supporting ERP solutions in a Higher Education environment.

As a senior member of the team, you will collaborate with both IT peers and administrative / academic offices, helping translate institutional needs into sustainable, secure, and effective solutions. You will also mentor intermediate developers, contribute to technical standards, and help ensure the long-term stability and scalability of the University’s application ecosystem.

Do you have a strong initiative to solve issues?  The function of this position is that of an Application Developer who will work closely with administrative and academic offices on campus to plan, develop, implement and support our mission critical ERP systems such as Ellucian Banner.  As an integral member of a team of cross-functional developers, this position will ensure the stability, and uptime of the University's enterprise systems and any relevant third-party applications ensuring that the service and business needs of the entire campus is met.

Do these things interest you?

• Development technologies - Oracle SQL, PL / SQL, XML, HTML, Grails, and Ellucian Page Builder.
• Building Ethos integrations, APIs, or data exchange between Banner and third-party applications.

This position provides leadership for the development of new solutions, modifications / customizations / updates of existing solutions as required by the customer.
