Production Supervisor

Eleven Recruiting is looking for a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join one of our largest Aerospace companies located in Los Alamitos, CA. This role is responsible for:

• Overseeing the assembly, welding, and fabrication of components, sub-assemblies or final assemblies
• Consistently uses daily management to ensure continuous flow through their area for 1 st and 2nd shift
• Hosts daily GEMBA meetings with management to provide detailed status to production plan and assures associated action plans are completed
• Supervises installation and maintenance of all equipment used in manufacturing
• Ensures prompt, cost-effective, and on time delivery of finished products to customers
• Keeps accurate and timely records on all employees and programs for their department.
• Experience working with union and non-union employees

Qualifications:

• B.S. or B.A. Degree or equivalent experience.
  2-3 years of Supervisory experience,
• preferable in an Aerospace Manufacturing environment
• Experience in lean manufacturing
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Metal Forming (Shear, Punch, Brake Press, Bending)
• Metal Fitting (Alignment, Welding)
• Metal Machining (CNC)
• Composite Fabrication
• Sub-assembly testing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
