Recruiting Solutions is seeking entry-level Machine Operators for a manufacturing company in the Columbia area. The Machine Operator is responsible for running machine equipment similar to an extrusion machine, and for unloading/loading the machinery and making necessary adjustments to measurements. Pay for Day Shift is $16.50/hr pay increase to $18/hr once hired permanently!

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Operate simple to complex automated machines in a climate controlled environment
• Make required adjustments to maintain specifications using engineering drawings, verbal instructions, written operator instructions, and boundary samples
• Process components within established operator cycle times
• Measure components and test complete assemblies using calibrated test and measuring tools
• Prepare needed documentation
• All other duties as assigned

Education/Experience Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience required
• Ability to operate Automated Equipment
• Ability to use common hand and power tools as well as perform calibrated tests and use measurement equipment
• Able to communicate effectively with a team and work in a group environment
• Must be able to pass an assessment in office
