Since 1994, the  Institute for Health & Healing (IHH)  at  Sutter Health  has been a pioneer in integrative health care — California’s first state-certified clinic combining conventional medicine with evidence-based complementary therapies.

As part of  IHH in Santa Rosa , you will join a mission-driven, philanthropy-based community dedicated to  whole-person wellness . The Santa Rosa clinic serves a vibrant and health-conscious community in the heart of Sonoma County, a region known for its focus on sustainability, wellness, and connection to nature.

Our  team-based model  emphasizes collaboration, prevention, and personalized healing journeys. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to combine conventional medicine with integrative modalities to help patients achieve balance of mind, body, and spirit.

You will be part of a close-knit and diverse  integrative health team  including :

• 1 Integrative Medicine Physician
• 1 Nurse Practitioner

• Acupuncturist
• Psychotherapist
• 2 Massage Therapists

This collaborative team supports a holistic approach to patient care — enabling you to provide  integrative physician consults , coordinate treatment plans, and partner across disciplines to guide patients on their individual wellness journeys.

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is a multi-specialty medical group made up of over 400 physicians and providers practicing in the greater San Francisco service area. Founded in 1992 by William B. Stewart, MD, the Institute for Health & Healing is one of the largest most comprehensive Integrative Medicine programs in the country, functioning as an integral part of Sutter Health.
