Commercial Application and Data Specialist Senior

:

Responsible for working with cross functional teams including Segment Data Office and Data and Insights Team on key initiatives in Commercial to drive strategic, segment and critical data elements.

·Enhancement of data quality (accuracy) through work with SDO and D&I as well as business and application owners. Review of business processes, data, and control environment to ensure accuracy.

·Enhancement of data processes and controls pertaining to regulatory reporting through review of reporting requirements for potential gaps and opportunities.

·Enhancement of credit and reporting processes via leveraging automation, system integration, consistency across data and applications.

·Other responsibilities as needed.

·Spearhead initiatives to improve data literacy across the Commercial Bank

·Champion the data strategy across the commercial segment to promote alignment

·Drives culture of business line ownership of credit risk, reporting and data issues.

Required Qualifications:

·Bachelors Degree

· 3+ years of risk or hands-on data experience including data management, data quality, data strategy, and/or data governance

Preferred Qualifications:

. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

·Problem-solving mindset

·Familiarity with Risk Management Framework and Control and Testing Framework

·Familiarity with Data & Analytics and Commercial Credit Applications

·Ability to multi-task, remain objective and goal-focused under pressure

·Ability to articulate problem solving methodology used to research and create solutions

·Analytical thought process and ability to determine paths of action and make recommendations to remediate issues

·Organized, methodical and high degree of attention to detail

·Experience with quantitative and qualitative data; including business and financial performance, digital, and operations Experience participating in data-related projects or programs
