Security Officer - College Campus Patrol

As a Security Officer - College Campus Patrol in Kutztown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM Tue 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM Wed 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM Thur 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM Fri 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activity in and around the assigned location.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or rule violations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff as needed.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
