Trout CPA, a full-service public accounting firm, is seeking an Estate & Trust Tax Specialist in its Tax Department. This individual will participate in individual, fiduciary and estate planning through tax filings. They will work directly with the clients and Individual and Fiduciary firm leadership to ensure all client services needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and fiduciary income tax returns, and estate and gift tax returns, including Form 706, 1041 and other relevant forms.
• Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate on the development of client specific tax planning strategies, including strategies for gifting, charitable contributions, and fiduciary distributions.
• Assist with estate administration.
• Work closely with other tax professionals and team members to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
• Stay up-to-date on tax law changes and industry trends through continuing education and professional development activities.
• Manage workflow, complete tasks daily, ensure deadlines are met, and work is completed accurately
