Float Pool Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary

Aptive Resources is seeking skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support the Atlanta VA Medical System. The CNAs will perform a variety of patient care and diagnostic support duties under the minimal supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). They will provide effective interventions tailored to individual patient needs in accordance with established facility policies and safety standards.

Shift Information : CNAs will be required to be apart of a float pool where they will be available for upcoming emergency shifts that includes both days and nights. Shifts will be 12hrs.

Primary Responsibilities

Direct Patient Care :

• Assist patients with personal care, including feeding, walking, lifting, and turning.
• Provide hygiene care using specialized equipment for patients receiving oxygen or suction therapy.
• Supervise and support patients in self-care activities such as eating, dressing, and using prosthetic devices.
• Assist with pre and post-operative care instructions based on nurse or doctor guidance.
