Overview

BayCare Medical Group, the leading multispecialty physician group in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join our well-established and growing practice. This position is based primarily at St. Joseph’s Hospital–South in Riverview, Florida, with additional surgical time at St. Joseph’s Hospital–Main , a Level II Trauma Center located in the heart of Tampa.

Our collaborative environment includes a highly skilled team of orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers, pediatric subspecialists, and a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will have access to advanced surgical suites, dedicated OR time, and the latest surgical technology to manage a wide range of pediatric orthopedic cases, including multiple fracture types. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected group with a robust referral network and strong community presence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat pediatric orthopedic conditions, including trauma and multiple fracture types
• Perform surgical and non-surgical interventions using advanced surgical technology
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric specialists, physicians, and APPs
• Provide coverage for 7 ER call days per month and 1 weekend call per month
• Participate in practice growth and development within a supportive, collegial environment
