Actalent is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Certificate of Analysis (COA) reviews, product release processes, and customer communication within the food or nutraceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for in-process and finished goods
- Release products in accordance with internal procedures and customer specifications
- Conduct lot traceability and deviation reviews
- Communicate directly with customers regarding product quality and documentation
- Support external audits (., Kosher, Halal, Organic)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or High School diploma with relevant experience1+ year of experience in Quality Assurance or Documentation Control in the food or nutraceutical industryHACCP and PCQI certifications preferredExperience supporting external audits (Kosher, Halal, Organic)Strong computer skills and familiarity with QA documentation systemsExcellent attention to detail and communication skillsPreferred Skills
Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and industry-specific regulationsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsJob Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 / hr.
