Sr Business Analyst (Commercial Lines Insurance) (New York)

Sr. BA with expertise in Commercial Lines P&C insurance needed for a FT perm role out of their NYC downtown office in a hybrid basis

Position Description : We are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Analyst (policy / UW in commercial insurance preferred with a claims minor) with extensive experience in the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They should have a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects within the insurance domain.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :

• Solution, lead and drive projects to conclusion from a business point of view time, budget, and scope definition.
• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Design and implement innovative solutions to enhance business operations and drive efficiency.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment and understanding of project objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
