Assistant Controller

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to oversee key accounting functions and ensure compliance with US GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead global revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606 standards

Oversee commission accounting and manage lease accounting processes globally under ASC 842

Supervise the US accounting team and drive improvements in financial reporting processes

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience with expertise in revenue recognition

Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and prepaid commission accounting

Experience in a global organization with multi-entity and multi-currency operations

Proficiency in accounting tools such as NetSuite and advanced Excel skills
