Description
The ERP Technical Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, and ongoing optimization of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) platform. This role will be responsible for overseeing the technical architecture, integrations, system performance, and delivery of ERP enhancements in alignment with business needs. The Manager will have deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O, a strong understanding of ERP business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.), and proven leadership in managing technical teams and partners.
A day in the life…
Lead the technical design, configuration, customization, and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
Manage ERP technical roadmap, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business strategy.
Oversee development and deployment of system enhancements, integrations, and extensions.
Collaborate with functional leaders to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, security standards, and governance policies.
Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex system issues.
Stay current with Microsoft’s release updates and proactively plan upgrades and patches.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and technical documentation.
Qualifications for the Position
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
4-7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O.
Proven experience leading technical ERP teams or projects.
Expertise in X++, Power Platform, Azure DevOps, Data Entities, and Integration Frameworks.
Strong understanding of ERP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing).
Experience with Microsoft Azure services and environments.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations App Developer Associate, preferred
Experience with Data Lake/Power BI Integrations, preferred
Prior ERP upgrade or global rollout project experience, preferred
Knowledge of retail or consumer goods industry processes, preferred
Experience with SOX compliance, preferred

A Little More to Know…
This position is classified as full-time salaried; it is exempt and is not eligible for overtime. This position is eligible for standard company benefits.
This position is required to maintain a structured hybrid work schedule based out of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. This hybrid schedule, which includes work done in the King of Prussia Office as well as your Home Office will be determined by your supervisor.
The position requires some domestic travel.
Given the seasonality of the business, this position may require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods.
