Position Overview
Mountain States Legal Foundation is searching for motivated college-enrolled students to join our team and help us tell stories of our nationally ground-breaking cases, clients, and headlines. This Fellowship is a great opportunity for students to jumpstart their careers in brand multimedia, and marketing strategy, while providing skills transferrable to media fields outside of law. This is a non-paid internship.
Position Duty and Responsibilities
Content Creation :
Create photo, video, and graphics for assigned tasks in alignment with MSLF’s brand identity
Marketing Strategy :
Assist in content planning, audience engagement, and campaign execution
Brand Storytelling :
Align content with MSLF’s brand voice, particularly within government litigation, donation impact, and the liberty movement
Collaboration :
Work closely with a wide range of audiences such as attorneys, clients, and donors to tell stories about MSLF’s mission and impact
Position Requirements / Qualifications
This fellowship is for the Spring 2026 Semester. At the end of the semester, students may be eligible to renew their fellowship based on work performance and interest.
In office role preferred
Currently enrolled in a college program (Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field)
Portfolio showcasing graphic design, content creation, and photo / video production
Must be able to exhibit professionalism as a representative of Mountain States Legal Foundation
Comfortable with Adobe Creative Cloud suite, and Canva
Ability to take on challenges and work as part of a team

Someone who is passionate about storytelling, digital marketing, and engaging online audiences
Capable of receiving constructive criticism and have a desire to improve
Commitment to mission-based impact
within the nonprofit and public interest field.
Position Remuneration
This is a volunteer role ideal for building your portfolio and gaining real world experience. If students wish to earn class credit for participation in this fellowship, we are more than happy to assist in completing any necessary paperwork.
