About the Team

The VIZIO Data Science team is looking for a highly talented and motivated Director of Data Science to report into VIZIO's Head of Data Science. The Director will be responsible for supporting VIZIO Advertising Technology groups. We are looking for a dynamic leader to manage teams performing non-commoditized data work. The position can be held in one of several offices (San Francisco, Denver, Los Angeles, New York).

What You Will Do

• Lead technical teams with vision and empathy.
• Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Manage teams that develop and write algorithms for use in production.
• Strategically investigate emerging technologies and their applications.
• Use data to evaluate the efficacy and value of product features.
• Organize and document complex technical projects.
• Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

For California-based employment : The minimum salary for this position is $204,000 / year. The maximum salary for this position $266,000 / year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.

For Colorado-based employment : The target salary range is $196,000 - $254,000. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.

For New York-based employment : The minimum salary for this position is $216,000 / year. The maximum salary for this position $280,000 / year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
