As a Warehouse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of all materials. You will adhere to FIFO and potential freight claim procedures while supporting all freight and safety policies. Your responsibilities will include receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, handling customer returns, and notifying management of any damaged shipments. Additional duties include pulling and assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, conducting inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, moving, storing, and replenishing materials, and performing daily cycle counts as necessary. You will also be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping materials in a manner that professionally represents the company and its suppliers while maintaining the integrity of materials through proper handling and storage.

Responsibilities include :

• Receive and unload inbound materials.
• Process inbound shipments and stock materials.
• Handle customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments.
• Pull and assemble customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct inventory stock checks and restock vendor products.
• Move, store, and replenish materials.
• Perform daily cycle counts as required.
• Pick, pack, and ship materials, maintaining material integrity through proper handling and storage.

Work environment : This is a fully on-site position in Grimes, Iowa. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm, with minimal overtime and possibly a few Saturdays (2-3 days a year). The dress code is work-appropriate jeans and a shirt, with steel-toed boots required for safety.

Job type and location : This is a contract position based out of Grimes, Iowa.

Pay and benefits : The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
