Senior Civil Engineer

Our well-established and growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a professional, experienced Senior Civil Engineer with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure to lead municipal, water infrastructure and land development projects from concept through permitting, design, and approvals. This person will be a key leader in dynamic projects and responsible for maintaining and applying knowledge of engineering principles and codes to ensure all projects are completed properly. We're looking forsomebody with a strong background in site design, regulatory permitting, and team leadership. Our team values collaboration, accountability, and a genuine desire to help others. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee land development projects from initial planning through final approvals.
• Lead design efforts for grading, stormwater management, utility infrastructure, and site plans.
• Supervise project teams, including designers, engineers, and technical staff.
• Coordinate client communication, municipal coordination, and regulatory permitting processes.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
• Review and approve technical engineering designs and contractor documentation.
• Serve as the primary technical and ethical representative for the firm on key client engagements.

Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5+ years of land development / site design experience.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and regulatory permitting processes.
• Excellent judgment, leadership presence, and communication skills.
• Experience with stormwater design, drainage, and municipal projects
• Familiarity with capital improvement projects
• Comfortable managing people and projects
