What you'll do

• Performing Diagnostic Imaging : Select appropriate radiation exposure settings based on the patient’s body type and condition. Capture high-quality images, tailoring exams to meet the specific needs of each patient.
• Patient-Centered Care : Document thorough and relevant patient histories, including symptoms and onset. Provide compassionate care while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance : Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently. Perform routine care, identify malfunctions, and report issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Technology & Documentation : Utilize Radiant Radiology, EPIC, and PACS systems for imaging requests, documentation, and charge entry. Follow ALARA principles and departmental safety guidelines.
• Team Flexibility : Support the care team by assisting with various tasks such as clerical duties, patient calls, order protocols, phlebotomy, rooming, POC testing, and medication administration as needed.
