Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Locum Adult Nurse Practitioner or FNP with recent Internal Medicine Experience needed in WA

They will take an ANY STATE LICENSED candidate for this position. Must start the WA license process with agency after acceptance of position.

This is for an Indian - Tribal Health clinic.

Credentialing: 3-4 weeks

Start: As soon as credentialed, see above. ASAP.

End: 3-month contract to start, with option to extend.

Schedule: M - F 8-5, no flexibility on schedule.

Patient Volume: 20-24 ppd

Procedures:

Will be dealing with a ton of complex patients. Chronic care, pain management, diabetes, hypertension, etc.
Must be able to see all ages.
Childhood illnesses in pediatrics, asthma, cold, cough, flu, etc.
Child exams, well women's exams, and Medicare wellness exams.
"Family Medicine background with an emphasis on chronic disease management and Geriatrics."

License: Will take an any state licensed candidate. WA preferred but will take any state license.

Certifications: BLS, DEA
MSN or DNP accredited program
BC/BE required from ANCC or AANP

Relevant Experience: MUST have 3-5 years of experience in Primary Care or Family Medicine AND at least 1-2 years of geriatric experience required.
