Surgery - General Physician Assistant

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting an experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant to provide coverage at a hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

Position Details:

Job Title: Orthopedic Physician Assistant Locum

Practice Setting: Inpatient
Call Schedule: None
Call Ratio: None
Documentation System: EPIC EMR
Trauma Level: Not applicable
Supervision: APP will work autonomously without supervising physician onsite
Patient Age Demographic: Adult

Procedures:

• Removal of lines, drains, sutures, and staples
• Dressing changes

Requirements:

• Active Virginia medical license (mandatory; submissions without license will not be accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• Provider must be local; only mileage reimbursement provided
• Clean background highly preferred
• Surgical PA experience preferred
