ABA Behavior Technician (BT) - Orange & Surrounding Area
Full Time and Part Time available

TRAINING & JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:


  • Learn about the principles and procedures of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
  • Receive paid ongoing training to implement learned strategies
  • Learn about autism and how to treat the behaviors associated with the diagnosis
  • Target clients goals across skill areas, including: communication, social skills, play, self-care skills, and community safety skills.
  • Work on clients goals in the natural environment, including: home and community
  • Record daily data on clients skills and behaviors during each session
  • Learn to analyze this data to determine clients progress
  • Receive direction from your Supervisor to modify how goals are addressed based on the data
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with your Supervisor to address questions and concerns
  • Communicate and engage with the client's family in a kind, supportive and professional manner as you share progress updates.
  • Work with applications, games, and web-based technology on a company tablet
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS


Required:


  • High school diploma and some college units
  • US work authorization
  • 40-hour training completion
  • Experience is not required. Professional training is provided.
  • Applicants with experience will be paid at a higher rate.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Automobile insurance
  • Availability of at least 15 hours per week
  • Schedule flexibility to conduct sessions at the times most needed by our client's families. This is primarily Monday-Friday between 2:00-7:30 pm. Some families also ask for Saturdays between 9:00 am-1:00 pm, so Saturday hours are available, but not required. Morning and mid-day hours may be available.

  • Flexibility in thinking, has the ability to quickly assess situations, and adapt to address the clients needs
  • Completed some college courses
  • Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, per California state mandate for healthcare workers

Compensation range $17.00 to $27.00 hourly, depends on experience
