CDL Class B Boom Driver

SUMMARY :

Responsible for delivering products and materials on a timely basis to job sites, as well as, for loading and unloading trucks and providing supervision / direction to laborers as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Drive trucks from the facility to designated job sites safely and in a timely manner.
• Load and unload building materials on and off trucks and carry materials onto job sites.
• Keep mileage logs as necessary.
• Ability to follow directions from dispatcher / branch management.
• Ability to convey directions and work effectively with a partner.
• Operate forklifts periodically.
• Use personal protective equipment as required.
• Responsible for care and maintenance of assigned vehicle.
• Must be able to operate designated crane / boom, or moffett safely and efficiently.
• Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Notify branch management immediately on any unsafe loading condition.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
