Planner / Scheduler (Los Angeles County)

Our partner, a well-established metal sheet manufacturing company in Valencia, CA, is seeking a skilled Production Planner to join their growing team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient production flow, on-time delivery, and coordination across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines.

Coordinate with operations, purchasing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure material availability and workflow continuity.

Monitor work orders, capacity, and inventory levels; adjust schedules as needed to address delays or changes.

Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.

Communicate schedule updates, priorities, and changes across the organization.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning and production processes.

Qualifications

2-4 years of production planning experience, ideally in metal fabrication, machining, or related manufacturing.

Strong understanding of MRP / ERP systems.

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Solid attention to detail and analytical capability.
