Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to lead our tax department and provide exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance and planning for various entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all regulations while providing strategic advice to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage tax compliance and planning for corporations, partnerships, and high net worth individuals (HNWI and UHNWI).
- Review and prepare federal and state tax returns for various entities including S Corporations, C Corporations, LLCs, and Partnerships.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients to optimize tax liabilities.
- Conduct research on tax issues and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Collaborate with clients and partners to develop effective tax strategies that align with their business objectives.
Qualifications
- CPA certification is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax management within a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of CCH Axcess software is a plus.
- Experience with various entity structures including S Corporations, C Corporations, LLCs, and Partnerships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
