Your Impact.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, cultivating, and securing strategic relationships that fuel growth for both We Insure and our franchisees.

Your contributions will directly drive new revenue opportunities, expand our brand presence, and strengthen long-term partnerships, helping us deliver exceptional value to clients and franchise owners. From day one, you'll manage your own pipeline, conduct remote and in-person meetings, attend conferences, and guide potential relationships from outreach through onboarding. This role is built for someone who thrives as the owner of high-value partnerships and can find overlooked opportunities that others miss.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Identify and reach out to potential partners across the U.S.
  • Secure meetings with decision-makers at prospective partner companies (online and in person).
  • Own end to end partner relationships : outreach, negotiation, onboarding, and long-term success.
  • Find, pitch, and close partnerships across industries (mortgage, home builders, RV dealers, lead-sharing partners, etc.).
  • Create and execute acquisition strategies; build a repeatable playbook for sustained growth.
  • Build VP-level and executive relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to partners.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Franchise Management on cobranded campaigns and integrations.
  • Drive measurable outcomes : revenue growth, co-marketing campaigns, lead generation, and conversion improvements.
  • Represent We Insure and The WE Way at industry events and conferences.
  • Monitor partner performance, optimize terms, and provide insights to improve success.
  • Improve internal partnership and sales systems to ensure win-win outcomes.
  • Prioritize partnerships that deliver fast, scalable benefits to our franchisees

Your Experience.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of business development or partnership management experience.
  • Strong understanding of partnership development and relationship building. Proven ability to turn outreach into successful long-term partnerships.
  • Creative, strategic thinker with the ability to navigate a highly regulated industry.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, evolving business environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • Highly organized, goal-driven, and energized by ownership of results
