Short Term Opportunity

Position Details :

  • Pay rate : $20 / hour
  • Client : Cummins
  • Location : Plainfield, IN
  • Schedule / Hours : 8am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch
  • All positions require a successful completion of a background check & drug test (we do not check credit. ABBTECH pays for both checks
  • Start Date : 8 / 7
  • DURATION : 8 / 7 / 2023-8 / 9 / 2023

JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS :

Computer Technician

  • 1-3+ years of experience working as an End User Computing PC / Laptop Deployment Team
  • New computer and PC deployment, unboxing, and set-up with data migration. Full deployment guide will be sent to each tech onsite.
  • Must have the ability to lift up-to 50lbs
  • Must be able to be on your feet ALL DAY and include up to walking the entire building, walking to different buildings and up and down stairs .
  • Possesses intermediate to advanced level knowledge and understanding of hardware products, commercial off the shelf application and diagnostic and troubleshooting utilities
  • Possesses basic to intermediate understanding of networking and security practices
  • Possesses proven customer service background
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions and update tracking systems as directed
  • Possesses good analytical and communication skills
  • Possesses strong ability to work independently
  • Possesses High School Diploma and A+ certification or equivalent skill set
  • Detail oriented, independent, self-starter and customer service oriented
